About me

As a visual artist, I am interested in the personal shifts or transformations in ones understanding of life forces and in the power to alter those realities. Nothing is ever static.

Over time there is change, growth, survival and newborn creation of life.

As a creative arts researcher, my doctoral studies were focused on perceptual and cognitive changes that occur in the process of shooting, viewing and reflecting on personal photographs.

My website: joanmoirphotography.com is an opportunity for you as viewers to bring to each image or set of images, feelings and thoughts fueled by your own life stories.  You are part of the enactment of the dance of dreamscapes.
